Police probe ‘White Van’ rape
Karandeniya Police commenced investigations into an incident where a 25-year-old woman was abducted and sexually abused by four masked men at Maha Edanda.The woman had been walking towards her home from Maha Edanda to Angunukola at about 5.00 p.m. when a white van had stopped near her and four masked youths had forcibly dragged her into the van. In her complaint to the Police, she has said the four men had repeatedly raped her.
